Eligible support work is done in conjunction with eligible experimental development, applied and basic research. It includes only the following 8 specific types of work:

• Engineering;

• Design;

• Operations research;

• Mathematical analysis;

• Computer programming;

• Data collection;

• Testing;

• Psychological research.
